Inaugurated in 1992, the exhibition allows people to get to know naturalists who have visited or worked on the Balearic Islands from the Enlightenment up to the middle of the twentieth century. There are photographs of the naturalists and scientists, reproductions of their principal works, various specimens, and also original objects and documents. People such as Bonaventura Serra i Ferrer, the botanists M. Wilkomm and J. Cambessédes, the zoologist Odón de Buen, the palaeontologist Dorothea Bate and the micropalaeontologist Guillem Colom Casasnovas are some of the leading figures.
